The most stylish Christmas Tree

This tree has been designed by John Galliano for the Christmas season in Claridge's hotel. Even though its not very Christmassy, it makes up for it with its elegant branches and enchanted animals. One of the better things about not having a real fir tree at Christmas... less cleaning.

Christian Louboutin for Barbie

This beauty has already sold out on net-a-porter. I'm not surprised, whether you are a fan of Barbie, or Christian Louboutin, this is a great collectors item. The 'Cat Burglar Barbie' even comes with four different pairs of Louboutins with their own shoe bags and boxes. At £100 though, I think I would rather put my money towards a real pair of Louboutins, and not miniatures that you can only look at through Barbie's little box home.

Ciara Phelan

Carrying on the theme of our styling workshop last week, I found another great illustrator (Ciara Phelan) who uses collage as her main medium. Pretty stuff.

Derelicte

I have been chopping up all my lovely photos and rearranging them in my sketchbook for my current project at CSM. Heres a couple of my illustrations which are based around the regeneration on derelict buildings in East London.

Grégoire Alexandre

I love these images by Gregoire Alexandre. He has a beautiful way of playing with scale and creating an impact through his lens.

Paper Dreams

Working with Emma and Fabrizio from Graphic Object on Friday was a lot of fun and very insightful. Their work ranges from illustration, design, editorial and installation work for various different clients. After getting an idea of the work they do I found a great example of some compelling illustrative work from Sarah Illenberger. Her work is beautiful, strong and totally inspiring.

Interesting for Londoners

London Profiler is an entertaining little website that lets you check out everything from crime rates, education, health and how multicultural your areal is in London. Unfortunately, Dalston is the worst for sexual offences, drugs, and violence. Oh and it is the worst deprived. Brilliant!
